About Dr. Rawicki

Returning to Louisiana with his wife and children after years away, Dr. Rawicki is elated to return to serve the Northshore community where he spent much of his childhood. Dr. Rawicki’s primary goal for his patients is to ensure that they have full understanding of their spine condition, and to educate them on all options for treatment.

His aim is to provide the least invasive possible option for all conditions, with the realization that in most situations, surgery can be avoided all together. Dr. Rawicki’s goal is to enter into a true partnership with each patient that he meets, realizing that in order to reach the goal of improving your health, trust is paramount.

Dr. Rawicki currently specializes in the treatment of all spinal disorders, with a particular interest in both minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as complex spinal deformity and revision procedures. His passion is to provide cutting-edge surgical techniques which minimize postoperative pain and medication usage, while ensuring the tenets of spine surgery are followed, to provide the best possible outcome. Dr. Rawicki aims to perform the least invasive possible procedure in order to alleviate a patient’s spinal condition, while promoting quick recovery and rehabilitation. He continues to have active interest in the advancement of the field, being actively involved in research, with multiple publications including journal articles, presentations and review articles.

One of Dr. Rawicki’s primary passions, out of which his love for spine surgery was born, is service. Completing multiple medical mission trips during his undergraduate and medical school education, Dr. Rawicki was able to experience the rewarding nature of providing medical care for those in great need. He continued to work towards providing care to underserved communities while in medical school, serving on the Leadership Team of the Medical Student Run Clinic, subsequently continuing to advance the clinic by serving on the Advisory Board for the duration of his medical school training. Dr. Rawicki’s promise to each of his patients is that he will see them as an individual, allowing their concerns to be heard extensively, and to work tirelessly to provide a service-oriented mindset to each of their problems. Dr. Rawicki currently sees patients at the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge locations at Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital and Walker.
